In recognition of the fantastic trade exhibitors across our 65-acre site, the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society’s Trade Exhibits Committee have devised a variety of awards and accolades to celebrate excellence and encourage further success.
Exhibitors at this year’s Balmoral Show will have the opportunity to enter themselves for the New Product Innovation Award sponsored by Northern Ireland’s leading agricultural supplements, the Farming Life and Farm Week.
Introduced to reward innovation and highlight new products and services to the Northern Ireland market, this accolade will be presented to an exhibitor who is promoting an exciting new product/service that has been introduced since May 2023.
The lucky winner will receive a tailored £1,500 advertising package with the Farming Life/Farm Week alongside a press release and social media coverage after the Balmoral Show.

The Balmoral Show Trade Stand Awards were first introduced to further raise the profiles of exhibitors who go the extra mile to showcase their products and services at the Show.
The award categories have evolved over time to celebrate businesses across seven categories in addition to one overall winner:
- Best Trade Stand displaying agricultural or horticultural machinery or equipment
- Best Trade Stand displaying agricultural or agricultural related products or services
- Best Trade Stand displaying anything primarily not related to the agri/horticulture industries
- Best Trade Stand displaying locally produced food or drink
- Best Trade Stand in the Eikon & Annex shopping halls
- Best Trade Stand displaying plant machinery or equipment
- Best presented outdoor catering stand
- Best Overall Stand at the Show
o A Perpetual Trophy will be presented to the best overall stand, kindly sponsored by the Donnelly Group
All exhibitors at the Show are automatically entered after paying for their exhibition space and will be visited by the judges on the first day of the Show. The presentation of awards will also take place later that day. You can find further details in the 2025 Trade Exhibitors’ Manual.
