The Balmoral Show will take place from Wednesday 14th to Saturday 17th May 2025 at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, Lisburn.

The Show opening times are as follows;

Wednesday: 9:30am - 6:00pm

Thursday: 9:30am - 8:00pm

Friday: 9:30am - 7:00pm

Saturday: 9:30am - 6:00pm

Please note, the last shuttle bus to Lisburn train station will leave 30 minutes after the Show closes each day.

Smoking is NOT permitted in any enclosed building or space including the marquees.

We operate a strict no dogs policy at Balmoral Show with the exception of those taking part in displays or assistance dogs. Visitors with dogs will not be able to enter the Show.  Dogs are not permitted to remain in cars in the car parks due to the risk of heat exhaustion.

The majority of the Show has a rolling programme over the 4 days, so you can see the same things every day.  Certain classes of competitions are only held on particular days and Thursday is the main day for Young Farmers activities.

RUAS Membership allows entry to the Members’ Area with a private dining room and views overlooking the Main Arena.

We have hundreds of quality trade stands brimming with lovely things to buy including homeware, garden furniture, fashion, artwork and jewellery.

  • The Eikon Shopping Village has everything from food to furnishings, coats to ceramics and shoes to sweaters.
  • Our Makers' Market within the Eikon is dedicated to showcasing the finest crafters and creators in Northern Ireland. 
  • The new Strategic Power Connect Sustainability Village is your one stop for all forward thinking initiatives to include energy efficiency products and information on renewables.  
  • And the ever-popular Healthy Horticulture Area is full of inspiration with garden furniture, hot tubs, paving and other travel and tourism gems. 

Early Bird discounted tickets will be available from Spring 2025. We recommend that all tickets are purchased in advance of visiting the Show. 

Yes, please ask the attendant on the gate to stamp your hand before exiting the showgrounds to allow re-entry.

All tickets must be purchased online in advance of your visit to the Show. You can purchase your ticket online on any of the Show days.

Please allow up to 2 hours for your e-tickets to reach your inbox, especially at busy times. We also recommend that you check your junk or spam mail folder. 

If after 2 hours you cannot locate your e-tickets within your email folders, please contact the Show Office and we can manually re-send your confirmation email.

Car parking is available on the showgrounds at a daily rate of £10 per car. Please note, car parking can be paid by cash only on the day of your visit.

As with any large scale events, there will be queues arriving and leaving the showgrounds at peak times. Please make sure to make provisions for any delays.

During Show days, show-goers are encouraged to make use of public transport and the free shuttle bus service

The Balmoral Show attracts big crowds. This will inevitably result in some delays in entering the site at peak times. Using public transport can enhance your journey. For further info visit the Getting to the Show section of our website.

Our best advice is to arrive early and purchase tickets in advance of your visit so you can gain entry to the site quickly and efficiently.

The last bus each day will leave 20 minutes after the Show closes.

There are toilets located throughout the showgrounds.  This includes accessible toilets, baby changing and breast feeding facilities. 

First aid is provided at the First Aid Centre, situated in the centre of the showgrounds. Please ask a steward or official for assistance.
