This year Balmoral Show organisers, the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society, challenged all budding florists to ‘Bee the Change’ for their 2025 Horticulture Competition in celebration of World Bee Day on 20th May 2025.
Judge, Christine Adams, was thoroughly impressed with the creativity on show as each entry reflected how we can protect our local bees and ensure they have everything they need to carry out their vital role.
This competition had three categories for budding horticulturists of all ages including Pre-School/Primary school, 12-17 years old and an over 18 category.
Congratulations to all of this years winners and thanks must go to our kind sponsors, Hillmount Garden Centre and 3TPower.
