Would your Primary school class like the opportunity to attend the 2025 Balmoral Show as part of the Balmoral Kids School Trail for FREE?
The Show prides itself on being a treasure trove of educational opportunities for visitors of all ages. From learning where our food comes from, to how milk is produced and what seasonable vegetables can be grown in Northern Ireland, the event features experts in everything our local agri-food industry has to offer.
By taking part in the Balmoral Show 2025 Primary School Competition, your primary school class could be in with the chance to win:
To win these fabulous prizes you will be tasked with creating a video to explain why a trip to the Balmoral Show is a great day out for school children and what your pupils hope to learn about agriculture at the Show.
Once you’ve made your video, simply upload it to your school’s official Facebook or Instagram pages and tag the official Balmoral Show Facebook/Instagram accounts. We would also recommend that you use our official hashtag #BalmoralShow to feature in the Balmoral Show stories.
Your video should be no longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds long and we encourage you to be as creative as you can. From interviewing pupils to showing us how the Balmoral Show links to your learning, we can’t wait to hear why you would like to join us.
This competition is only open to Primary schools in Northern Ireland, more than one entry is permitted per school and the competition will close at 9pm on Sunday 9th March 2025.
We will aim to inform the winning school no later than 5pm on Tuesday 18th March 2025. The 2025 Balmoral Show will take place from Wednesday 14th to Saturday 17th May 2025 and the winning school will be able to attend the Show on any one of the four days.
*If your class requires additional staff or pupil tickets they can be purchased separately by your school.
