This week the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society’s Horticulture Committee were proud to present a cheque for £3,500 to Matthew Lee and Fiona Chamberlain on behalf of Horatio’s Garden, Belfast.
The money was raised at this year's Balmoral Show through the generous support of visitors who purchased vegetable transplants and flowers, kindly donated by the Gabbie family of John Gabbie & Sons, with support from Gilfresh and Greenisland Flowers.
Horatio’s Garden is a tranquil space at Musgrave Park Hospital which supports patients with spinal injuries from across Northern Ireland, as well as people staying in the hospital’s Amputee Rehabilitation Unit.
