Business Development Executives Carolyn Greene and Karen Hughes from the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS) announce that livestock and equine entries for the 2026 Balmoral Show are now open.
Entries can be submitted online for both Livestock and Equine sections. Copies of the prize schedules are available, and entries will close on Wednesday 25th March at 5pm.
This year the Society is delighted to announce that an additional €14,000 of prize money was awarded to the RUAS equine section by the Breeding Grant Initiative under National Breeding Services with thanks to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and delivered by Horse Sport Ireland.
