The weather couldn’t dampen spirits last week as the 2026 Balmoral Show, in partnership with Ulster Bank, welcomed tens of thousands of visitors to the Eikon Exhibition Centre from Wednesday 13th to Saturday 16th May for four unforgettable days of agri excellence.
As Northern Ireland’s premier agri-food event, the Show once again united rural and urban communities to celebrate the region’s outstanding livestock, food, drink and local produce. This year’s event offered a packed programme of educational and family-friendly attractions, including cookery demonstrations, traditional heritage crafts, a children’s sensory trail, the ever-popular heavy horse parade in the SPAR Main Arena, and countless opportunities to experience first-hand the exceptional quality of livestock, horses and local food on display.
For exhibitors and competitors, the four-day event also delivered unrivalled networking opportunities, generating valuable business leads and fostering new connections set to strengthen organisations and businesses over the coming year.
The 2026 event marked the 157th Balmoral Show organised by the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS). Staff and dedicated volunteers behind the charity once again worked tirelessly to uphold the high standards for which the Show is renowned.

Next year’s Balmoral Show in partnership with Ulster Bank will take place at the Eikon Exhibition Centre from Wednesday 19th to Saturday 22nd May 2027.
